Florence Germaine Swerdlen, 77 years, passed away February 15,2017, at her home in Romulus, Michigan, surrounded by her loved ones. Born August 29, 1939, in Rose City, Mi. She was the daughter of Clarence and Geraldine (Compton) Conley. She married Erwin Swerdlen, and together they had 6 children: Joseph(Karen), Bruce(Sheri), Edward(Carrie), Susan(Steve), Johnny(Cheryl), and Margaret. She worked at Sambo’s, Denny’s and Connor’s. She had 20 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She loved being around her family, and delighted in spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and her feline companion, Bella. Flo also enjoyed crocheting, and cooking for her family She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Erwin.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 18, 2017, at Bedford Alliance Church, 8645 Jackman Rd., Temperance, MI at 1:00 pm. Pastor Craig Killinen, officiating. Memorial Contributions can be made to the Humane Society or the American Cancer Society.
